Teacher Training with Open Doors

Open Doors provides a unique environment for you to do your training in where students, and teachers, from over 46 nations work together to help those learners to live effectively in the community. This is achieved through the provision of English language learning and other essential skills such as numeracy, literacy, ICT and living in the community courses - all taught by our highly qualified and skilled ESOL teachers. In addition to the learning environment we known for the warm and friendly atmosphere, where all students and trainees are genuinely treated as individuals and given the support they need to achieve their goals.

An anonymous end of course evaluation by a recent group of trainees gave us this quote:

"The friendly, supportive and professional tutors who actually do have your best interests at heart and take time to ensure that you are supported throughout the course, combined with the real life situation of the ESOL learners/students and tutors makes ODILS an amazing environment to train in. I'd recommend this course to anyone who is looking for a place to train as an ESOL/EFL teacher."

Overseeing Organisations

Open Doors is regulated by both OFSTED for our public sector work and the British Council for the private sector. This means that anyone training with us gains the benefits of seeing both angles of ESOL/ EFL provision within a fully regulated and up to date environment
